Privacy policy
What happens to the details you share with us, in plain English.
Our commitment
Second Voice Limited is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We follow UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and we respect the privacy laws that apply to people we contact in the United States.
We understand and respect your rights, and we make them easy to use.
Who we are
Second Voice is a trading name of Second Voice Limited, the data controller for the information we hold about you. You can contact us about privacy at hello@secondvoice.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, your email address and any note you choose to add.
We may also obtain business contact details from other sources, such as professional networks, public company websites and reputable data providers. This is limited to your name, job title, company, work email address and work phone number.
We also collect basic, anonymous information about how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. This does not identify you.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage that relationship.
We may contact business professionals whose role makes our work relevant to them. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interest. Tell us to stop and we do, straight away.
Where it goes
Your details are stored securely with our hosting provider and in our CRM so the team can follow up.
We never sell, rent or resell your data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it, and the services we use store data securely with access controls in place.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, any work together or our business contact with you, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless the law requires otherwise. After that we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or move it to another provider. You can object to marketing at any time and we will always honour that.
If you live in the United States, you can ask to know what we hold, delete it, correct it and opt out of marketing. You will never be treated differently for using these rights.
We respond within one month, free of charge.
How to make a request
Email hello@secondvoice.co.uk. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to keep your data safe.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if anything changes. Last updated: 17 October 2026.
